When should I take the ovulation test?Updated 10 months ago
First, let's talk about how ovulation tests work. Winx Health ovulation tests measure for high levels of luteinizing hormone (LH) in your urine. LH surges 24-28 hours before ovulation and you are most fertile on the day of the LH surge as well as the day after.
When to test depends entirely on your cycle length. Check out this chart and example calendar below to determine the best days to test.
If your period is irregular, don't worry, you're not alone! Think back to the first day of your last period and work back from there. Another good way to know when to take an ovulation test is to keep an eye out for vaginal discharge that looks and feels like raw egg whites. If you still aren't sure, try testing regularly for a whole month to figure it out.
Last thing (we promise), we recommend taking the test midday, around the same time each day, for best results. The test is over 99% accurate when used correctly - so be sure to read all of the instructions before you get going.
